Contemporary multi band engagement ring – Portfolio

This week our client approached us with the design brief of creating a truly magical fairy-tale ring. Our consultation began with ideas and inspiration taken from their Pinterest page. Once the initial shape had been determined, we discussed the finer aspects of the ring. We explored the different ways of setting the stones and quickly decided the claw setting was best suited to his partners dimensions and taste. Although detailing is fine, we created a heart shaped claw to secure the centre stone to hold in the 0.33 ct modern round brilliant cut diamond, as this type of cut produces breathtaking sparkle. The bands were created in Palladium featuring a Cathedral shank moving toward the centre of the ring to create additional emphasis on the centre stone. The arms are channel set with 1.2mm diamonds to create a sea of sparkle. The arms then taper back softly to provide practical daily wear without creating a vacuum on the finger. Our client was on a time scale for this custom ring as he was whisking his partner off to Florida where he was planning to propose. Due to the timing of this project we ended up shipping the ring directly to the hotel ensuring a magical proposal as desired.
