Mined Diamonds

What Makes them a Timeless Treasure?

Mined diamonds are natural wonders, formed over millions of years deep within the Earth’s crust. Each diamond is a unique masterpiece, shaped by immense heat and pressure. Available in different cuts, from classic rounds to elegant emeralds, these gems are more than just sparkling stones; they are rare pieces of Earth’s history, an everlasting symbol of beauty to be cherished for generations.

Lab-grown Diamonds

Could Something New Become Your Forever?

Lab-grown diamonds are created using advanced processes, offering a beautiful and cost-effective alternative to mined Diamonds without compromising on quality or size. As technology has progressed, a greater variety of shapes and sizes is now available, giving you even more options for creating your perfect bespoke piece.

Coloured Diamonds

What Makes Their Colour So Special?

Coloured diamonds, also known as “fancy colour diamonds”, are among the rarest diamonds available. Unlike traditional colourless diamonds, they occur in a spectrum of natural colours, including blue, pink, yellow, green and, in exceptionally rare cases, red. Their colour is created by trace elements or changes in the diamond’s crystal structure, giving each stone its own distinctive character and appearance.

Salt & Pepper Diamonds

Looking Beyond the Traditional?

Salt and pepper diamonds, with their distinctive black-and-white inclusions, present a bold alternative to traditional clear diamonds. Admired by those who embrace unconventional beauty, they are celebrated for their raw elegance and individuality. Each one tells its own story, making it the perfect choice for crafting truly one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.

Moissanite

Is Moissanite the Right Alternative for You?

I'm looking to buy an engagement ring but not sure if I should go for bespoke or off-the-shelf?

When comparing bespoke and off-the-shelf engagement rings, the bespoke option shines in its level of uniqueness and personalisation. Unlike off-the-shelf rings, which are mass-produced and readily available, a bespoke ring is crafted specifically for you or your partner. This means that every detail, from the choice of diamond or gemstone to the intricacies of the setting and metal type, is tailored to your preferences and story. Additionally, the sentimental value of a bespoke ring is unparalleled. The process of designing and creating this special piece can be deeply meaningful, adding layers of emotion and significance to an already cherished symbol of commitment.

How much time does it take to create and deliver a Bespoke Ring?

Generally, the crafting process takes 4-6 weeks, varying with design complexity. However, for urgent needs or short notice, we offer a ‘Curated Collection’ that can be in your hands within approximately 7-8 days.

What is your Returns Policy?

At Durham Rose, we don’t have a return policy due to the bespoke nature of each ring. Since every piece is unique, we strive to collaborate closely with each client to ensure that every design element is accurate before finalizing the order. Additionally, our rings come with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty to cover any potential manufacturing defects. You can find more details about our approach to returns here.
