Asymmetric bezel set engagement ring – Portfolio

Our client approached us after a long and unfruitful search in Manchester and Leeds. This 'Ring of the Week' project involved a design brief of something organic, asymmetrical and a ring that would suit the 'quirky' personality of his partner. The fluidity of this piece makes it very soft and romantic whilst retaining elements of a traditional engagement ring. We explored different shaped centre stones but due to the curvature in the arms, we felt the best setting would be a modern round brilliant cut. We explored several methods of wrapping the arms around the centre stone. As we wanted the focus to be on the diamond, the beautiful bowed band adding and extra arm to balance the piece and bring the asymmetric design through was chosen. Keeping with the contemporary feel we opted for the bezel set centre adding a dusting of sparkle on one of the arms to frame the round diamond perfectly. The diamonds in the band are grain set which reflect the light perfectly bringing the whole piece together.
