Vintage inspired rose gold cluster ring – Portfolio

The 'Ring of the Week' project this week was based upon the design brief from our client who was studying Jewellery design at University. The client had a very specific design concept and after consultation we collectively agreed on this beautiful design. The rose gold provides a soft and romantic atmosphere and the dainty diamond cluster creates and completes the classic, timeless design. Our biggest challenge was that of incorporating the pear stones onto the ring, as our client only wanted the centre stone to feature within the halo. In order for the pear shaped diamonds to look as though they belonged, we raised the centre stone to angle and tuck them slightly under the centre cluster. From the through view the under gallery is perfectly proportioned and detailed without creating fuss and retaining delicate design features. The diamonds roll into each other and sit perfectly into the softly tapered square band, completing the ring.
