Beautiful double halo diamond set cushion cut ring – Portfolio

This week, we are featuring this stunning 'Proposal Ring' as our 'Ring of the Week'. This ring was designed as a surprise after our client's partner was found searching the Durham Rose website. Proportion was the key design element to this ring design as our clients partner has a finger size of J which is very small compared with the national average which is an N 1/2. The double halo design allows for the centre stone to occupy a prominent position adding a sense of drama to this piece. With this being a proposal ring we set a 4.5 mm cushion cut Cubic Zirconia stone in the double silver bands. The bands run flush and parallel at the bottom of the shank to reduce the width for added comfort. These then move into a cathedral split shank which allows the piece to be more balanced, creating a pedestal platform for the ring to centre stone to be showcased. All of the complimentary tiny Cubic Zirconia are French set into the band which allows the setter to use the minimum amount of metal to set the stones, creating a dazzling effect.
